AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Welcome to Alpha Omicron Pi at Huntingdon College! My name is Katie Wade and I have the privilege of serving as the Chapter President of the Sigma Delta chapter.When I ran to Alpha Omicron Pi on bid day, I never imagined I would end up standing before my sisters as their 2024 Chapter President three years later. I cannot think of a more amazing way to spend my college career than loving and uplifting the women who have taught me so much!Our motto is “Inspire Ambition”. Sigma Delta encourages our sisters to inspire ambition in their daily lives through various activities. I am constantly inspired by the amazingly talented, beautiful, and dedicated women we have in this chapter. We have aspiring doctors, future educators, entrepreneurs and so many more that each bring something unique to the make-up of our sisterhood. Being a part of this organization has been one of my biggest blessings. It has given me the confidence to be myself and a leader as well as endless opportunities. My sisters are incredible mentors, and are so involved within our campus and community. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to surround myself with people who are my constant encouragement and most intentional friends. Alpha Omicron Pi has given me a home…a place to feel comfortable, accepted, and loved. My time at Huntingdon College truly would not be the same without these women who have loved, supported, and guided me.
